Description

Dark eyes dominate her oval face, wide and angular beneath thin, curving brows. Her skin, the color of cream-drenched klah, is smooth and without evident blemish. Her nose is broad and straight, rounded at the tip, and her cupid's-bow lips curve upwards at the edges in perpetual cheer. A fountain of springy black curls cascades from the crown of her head to just below her shoulders, falling free to frame her broad, sweet features. Like her face, her form is full, generously curved in all the right places - and maybe a few of the wrong ones.

Her zaftig body is muscle covered with a sleek, plump coat of flesh, tougher than the apparent softness suggests. Her clothing is simple, work chic - a pair of rough wherhide pants, worn but clean, into which is tucked a creamy rough-woven shirt, the long sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Her feet are adorned by a pair of well-used boots, perhaps a size or two too big, if the bulk of them is any indication. Her belt, at least, is somewhat flashy, a twisting of colorful linen cords surrounding a plump waist, tied off at the hip with the ends dangling a few inches down her hip.

WYSK

  • Aiysha is a Smithcraft Journeyman
  • She specializes in mechanics, but she's better at fixing things than making them.
  • She comes from a long line of Smithcrafters

History

Aiysha's story is simple; the daughter of a Smithcraft journeyman and his wife, one of the hall's headwomen, she is one of the middle pair of four children - two boys, two girls. She was raised at the hall, and eventually followed her father into the Smithcraft. She went from apprentice to journeyman in normal order, eventually walking the tables at eighteen turns of age. Although her progression up the ranks was not without difficulty; the plague had left the Crafthalls with such a dearth of qualified workers that they couldn't turn up their noses at a female, but that didn't mean they were happy about it. Still, her family connections and her own talents - as well as the fact that she is as cheerfully stubborn as the day is long - ensured that she was treated at least mostly fairly.

She specialized in machinery - specifically, in the repair and revitalization of machinery. Although relatively creative, she didn't have a particular head for the creation of new machinery - but she could easily take apart anything built, figure out how it works, what's gone wrong, how to fix it, and how to put it back together. In her spare time, when she's not tinkering on things gone haywire, she puts her tools to a far more delicate use, using a large variety of scrap materials including wire, twine, thread, beads, charms, wood, and the like to create jewelry.

Firelizards

Gold Spanner

Flame wrought gold spreads over the head and neck of this fierce little 'lizard. From muzzle to ridges, the color flashes in molten shades to her shoulders. Fire's golden glow spreads over the expanse of her wings, the bones and 'spars darkening to cooler shades yet still aglow with heat. Her limbs are long and muscular, her talons glinting daggers tipped in amber. Her tail follows behind her like the banner of some hellish army declaring itself to all the world.
